By air to Napier airport from where you can easily hire a car, or Jonathan or Judith can pick you up.
road (i-site)
By road from the i-site in Hastings CBD: drive south-west on Hastings Street. At the roundabout take the third exit on to Southampton Street and continue on this road to the T junction with Maraekakaho Road. Turn left here and drive for about 4km to a roundabout taking the third exit (SH50) signed to Bridge Pa. Continue on SH50 for about 10km and on reaching Maraekakaho bear right at the village war memorial onto Kereru Road. Gallery Cottage is just over 4km along here on the left – look out for our tall gum trees and the Gallery Cottage sign.
road (south-west)
By road from the south-west (Wellington and Palmerston North direction): drive north-east on SH2. About 10km after leaving Norsewood turn left on to SH50 and follow this road for about 57km. On reaching Maraekakaho turn a sharp left into Kereru Road and continue along here for just over 4km. Gallery Cottage is on the left – look out for our tall gum trees and the Gallery Cottage sign.
