As the 2014 grape harvest starts here in Hawkes Bay news comes that eight Hawkes Bay wines have been awarded gold medals at the 2014 Easter Show Wine Awards.

Villa Maria topped the list of Hawkes Bay producers with three gold medals. Other Bay wineries to win gold included Esk Valley, Clearview Estate, C.J. Paske and Sileni Estates.

A special mention must go to our neighbouring vineyard owners, Osawa Wines. They were awarded a gold medal for their Prestige Collection Methode Traditionelle NV. Well done guys!
